Academic Coaching packages focus on academic and executive function coaching through the college transition. Clients receive consistent weekly virtual sessions, access to a student itemized to-do list, consultation and guidance on class and major planning, instruction on goal setting, effective study skills, organization, efficient time management strategies, guidance on social skills for speaking with professors and classmates, and self-advocacy skills.
Sessions will also include assignment-specific help such as breaking down larger projects, research assistance, organizing and outlining papers, and help with identifying key resources on campus, such as the Math Center or Writing Lab.
The number of sessions is dependent on student needs and curriculum.
Typical results include personal accountability, increased confidence, overall academic organization, lower stress, better grades, and a path toward independence.
